Nutmeg and Mace
Our nutmeg and mace come from special areas like Wayanad and Idukki where the soil is very good for growing them.
These are carefully grown and picked to make sure they are of the best quality. Nutmeg is the seed inside the fruit, and mace is the soft, red covering around it. Both are left on the tree to grow naturally, which helps them develop their unique smell, taste, and warm flavor.
Each nutmeg is dried in the sun to keep its natural oils, which give it a warm, slightly sweet taste with some earthy flavors.
Mace has bright red–orange threads and has a softer, more subtle scent with a slightly sweet and spicy flavor. Together, they add depth and balance to both sweet and savory dishes.
